Cissy Houston is the self-titled debut album by Grammy Award-winning US soul singer Cissy Houston. Originally released in the UK as Presenting Cissy Houston on Major Minor Records in 1970, the album has been reissued by Reel Music for Record Store Day 2019. The album features a soulful cover of I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself, written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, as well as covers of Bobby Darin’s I’ll Be There (a Top 20 R&B hit for her in 1970), Melanie’s Any Guy, Sam and Dave’s When Something Is Wrong With My Baby, The Ronettes’ Be My Baby, and The Beatles’ The Long and Winding Road. It also adds the bonus B-side Midnight Train To Georgia.
